More on Hoodoo Mojo Bags- How to wrap a Mojo Packet

I wanted to post some more how to's on mojo bags and packets and give some suggestions on this technique. This method takes a little more effort and time than the already sewn mojo bags where you write out petition papers, fill your bag with herbs and curios, tie, and bless, and feed, and all that good stuff that goes into the process.

This method is more of a start to finish process, and I will give you a basic way of doing this, but by all means develop your own style as you will. :) This is an instruction on how to actually make a mojo packet not a mojo bag. The difference? A mojo bag is a sewn bag with two sides a string at the neck as a draw string to close it or placed around the neck to tie it shut. A packet is just that, mojo folded into a packet and wrapped with thread to keep it sealed.

Here is an image of the beginning process after you have obtained red flannel fabric, red thread, scissors, petition paper, and herbs. (It was for love work including dominating a man).
Cut your flannel fabric about 3 to 4 inches by 3 to 4 inches, creating a square piece.
Boil water on the stove and gather the herbs appropriate to your work.
Tear your paper into squares for the petition paper. As you can see in the image here, I have flannel and paper ready for these love packets.

For a Money Mojo I made on behalf of a client, I used:
Cinnamon
Allspice
Five Fingers Grass
Irish Moss
High John Conqueror Root

Place these raw ingredients in a shallow pan, like a baking cookie dish. I used three tablespoons of each ingredient and one crushed High John Root.
Once the water has boiled, pour this over the raw ingredients in the cooking sheet. I used only a cup to two cups. Allow it to steep with the herbs until cool.

Place the red flannel on top of this concoction until it absorbs the liquid. Then remove (allow bits of ingredients to remain on flannel if they stick) the flannel and lay across a safe place to allow it to dry.
Take your paper for the petition paper (no writing should be on the paper, in other words, do not write out the petition on the paper YET) and lay it on top of the concoction. The paper is going to absorb the water. Take it back out and place in a drying area.
Strain the herbs and water and store the saved water to use as a bath or floorwash ;).

Once the flannel and paper have dried.
Prepare your petition paper.
Gather any type of other extra curios like pyrite, mojo wishing beans, or lodestone and personal concern for the mojo. Place them across the mojo flannel and fold it towards you, turn and fold, and repeat till you have a little packet of mojo.

Take out your red thread and wrap the mojo packet towards you while focusing on the petition. Wrap it until it is secured then tie it off with odd number of knots.
Name it and feed it some whiskey, carry it like all other mojos, by the skin out of sight. Keep it fed though weekly.

Quicky Note On Sexing Up Your Lover

Some hot herbs to spice up your man and get him ready for some hot lovin':

  • Damiana, Patchouli, High John Root, Sampson Snake Root, Catnip, Cherry Bark or Wild Cherry Bark, and Juniper Berries, your pubic hair cut finely in small pieces. Use this combo for a powder to sprinkle on Penis shaped figural candles. Inscribe his full name in the candle first. OR write a petition out with his name and yours over top of his, with the intention around the outside of the names in a full circle. Something like "hotsexpassionateloveaffair" or something of the sorts!
  • Steep Damiana herb in your favorite wine or Amaretto liquor for a few weeks, the longer the stronger.
  • Make a concoction of of Damiana, Sampson Snake Root, Juniper Berry, Honey, and add your girly essence for an aphrodisiac tea. Don't over do the herbs ladies ;)
  • If you give your man likes a good oily massage, try infusing the herbal mixture into a bottle of Almond oil for a month, then use during your tender loving session all over him while burning a 7 day red candle that has been dressed with the herb mixture or a few drops of the prepared massage oil. Be sure to write your intention on the candle, and charge your massage oil for a sexy good time. I am sure he will Thank You in the A.M. Lol.

Hoodoo & Spiritual Waters & Colognes

Spiritual waters and hoodoo waters are toiletry waters, perfumed water, hydrosols, infused herbal waters, and blessed waters. There are as many types as there are uses. Waters can be used to feed spirits, bathe in, use in floor washes, sprinkle altar spaces, sprinkle properties and door ways, feed mojo hands, use on the body, beds, in spell bottles, etc.

Some of my favorites include:
Basil & Rosemary infused water (bring peace and cooperation in family home)
Basil infused water (brings peace)
Chamomile infused water (brings luck in money)
Cinnamon infused water (brings luck in money or love)
Lavender infused water (brings loving, calming conditions)
Lemon infused water (cleaner and freshener)
Lemon Balm infused water (soothing, calming conditions)
Lemongrass infused water (cleaner and brings in luck)
Patchouli infused water (brings love and passion)
Rue infused water (protection)
Rose Hydrosol (brings loving conditions)
Florida Water Cologne (feeds spirits, brings luck, cleans negative energies)
Holy water (cleaner and freshener)
Hoyt's Cologne (brings luck, dresses mojos)
Kananga Water Cologne (cleansing and offering to spirits)
Pompeii Lotion (offering to Ezili)
Bay Rum Cologne (offering to spirits)
Four Thieves Vinegar (cleanser, protector)

To make an infused water you can do this one of three ways the first is to place fresh herbs into a pan of spring water or rain water. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 minutes, strain, and cool before using. The more herbs you place to simmer in the pan, the stronger the water will be. The second way is to put your fresh herbs into a gallon jug of spring water and refrigerate it for 8-12 hours. The first method I prefer to use as it really brings out the essence of the herb much more strongly then chilling the water. The second way, however, can be used as a tea for drinking if you were adding this to a cleansing, purifying, or luck bringing ritual. The third way is to set the water with herbs in a sunny hot window for two days to naturally steep.

When you make your own waters you can combine fresh herbs for a multitasking water such as the basil and rosemary water. Other options are Patchouli and a little Rose Hydrosol to sprinkle on your bedsheets for attracting a love affair. Get creative with your waters, add them to your routines and magickal work. You can even spritz the room with them. :)
