Lakshmi Hindu Goddess of Prosperity, Wealth, Beauty, and Spiritual Fulfillment

Lakshmi aka Mahalakshmi is a beautiful Hindu Goddess of prosperity, wealth, beauty, and spiritual fulfillment. Her consort is the God Vishnu. She brings good luck and is said to be the source of strength. She has 18 arms that carry her symbols or weapons: beads, battle axe, trident, noose, bell, shield, sword, bow, arrow, lotus, water pot, cudgel, thunderbolt, cup, conch, lance, sudarsana (chakra) and mace. She presides over morality, monetary goods, fame, knowledge, love, strength, health, beauty, victory, valor, abundance, happiness, intelligence, etc.
Lakshmi is the embodiment of love by which is the vessel to reach God (Vishnu). She is a mother figure, much like Mother Earth in one of her forms, she can intervene in times of trouble for her devotees. It is through Lakshmi that prayers reach God. Lakshmi is the divine qualities of the most High. She is pure feminine energy, because behind every Good Man is a Good Woman. She is the power behind her Consorts.
Her time of festivals is during the month of October where devotees hold 1 day celebration to Lakshmi with chants of her 108 names, rice cakes, fruits, and other sweets. There are a few mantras used for her. Here is a mantra used for Lakshmi: Om Shreem Hreem Maha lakshimi Namaha
This video below can be downloaded and has a longer mantra that you may use as well. :) I personally do not use music like this, but it gives you a good pronunciation of the mantra.
The music is slightly distracting so I would just write down the mantra, listen to its pronunciation and use it with your works with her.
